It goes into detail on the company policy for drivers and what information is regularly expected from them, the policy on journeys with regard to rest breaks etc and the company commitment to carrying out risk assessments etc.
This document names the person ultimately responsible (A director or member of the board).
Company Car User Guide/Employee Owned Car User Guide (2 documents)
The car user guide is a personalised driver's guide, incorporating the main aspects of the fleet policy whilst giving the driver all of the information they need. It is a reference point for the driver to know what is expected from them and what the company policies and procedures are.
Each driver should read their user guide and sign an acceptance of commitment to the policies and procedures.
