JAAMA CONTINUES EXPANSION WITH NEW SUPPORT ANALYSTFast-growing fleet software and risk management experts Jaama has recruited an additional customer support analyst this year as the company kicks-off 2007 with further sales success, particularly with high profile contract wins from companies running large fleets.
Samantha Bowman will provide technical support to Jaama customers so they can maximise fleet operating and management efficiencies through the improved utilisation of the functionally rich software.
Jason Francis, managing director of Jaama, said: “To ensure we continue to deliver a first class customer service we will expand our support team to keep pace with the rapid growth of our customer base. Samantha is the second analyst to join our customer support team this month.”
Overall, Jaama’s staff numbers have more than doubled in the past 18 months as the company expands its software range to bring increased functionality to customer fleet operations. Major customers include mobile phone group Phones4U, Newtown Vehicle Rentals, SIG Trading Limited, Smeg and the British Transport Police.
Mr Francis explained: “We spent the latter half of 2006 recruiting additional software developers to ensure we deliver industry-leading tools that bring together and electronically link the disparate areas of vehicles, suppliers, customers and drivers.”
Jaama’s industry-leading skills have already been recognised this year with the company, which was only launched in 2004, winning its third award from the Institute of Transport Management - the ‘Best UK Fleet Software Company 2007’.
Mr Francis said: “A combination of our inventiveness as fleet software innovators and the continuing demands of fleet operators in charge of both cars and commercial vehicles means that we have started 2007 in fantastic shape.”
