Most advanced vehicle management system launched by Jaama
A new vehicle management software system, claimed to be the most advanced of its kind, has been launched by fleet software and occupational road safety specialist Jaama.
Jaama's flagship fleet product, called Key2 Vehicle Management is entirely web based and the world's first to adopt Microsoft's revolutionary Smart Client application design, and industry standard XML data standards.
The system, which is expected to make a significant impact upon the fleet industry, has already been adopted by some of the industries largest fleets including leading contract hire and vehicle rental specialist Newtown Vehicle Rentals. Newtown chose it to manage their fleet, workshops, leasing and rental operations after extensively researching the market.
Jason Francis, Jaama's managing director, said: "Jaama was created to bring advanced products using the latest technology to the fleet industry and Key2 Vehicle Management is the result of a one million pound development investment.
"We are very proud of what we have achieved, especially considering the amount of time we have done it in. When we started almost a year ago, we had no products and no customers, but we did have a team of very experienced people with a history of innovation, most of whom had worked together for over 10 years at rival firm cfc solutions.
"We are justified in saying that Key2 Vehicle Management is the most advanced fleet system available, because it is the first to use a number of emerging technologies including Microsoft Smart Client and XML common data standards. Smart Client provides a rich user interface to web browser product, and XML provides a universal data format, enabling seamless integration with other systems such as vehicle telematics, DVLA or any modern application or data provider."
Jaama's Key2 product range covers all aspects of owning, renting, leasing, hiring, maintaining, repairing, running and disposing of cars, vans, commercial vehicles, plant and other asset related equipment.
