Fleet software in the news

JAAMA CONTINUES TO EXPAND WITH NEW ‘HEAVYWEIGHT’ ANALYST APPOINTMENT
Jaama, the leading fleet management software company, has continued its expansion with the appointment of John Machin to the firm’s team of customer service support analysts.
With an ever-increasing number of organisations turning to Jaama’s web-based Key2 Vehicle Management software to effectively and efficiently manage their fleet vehicles - cars, light commercial vehicles and HGVs - and drivers, there is an ever increasing need for support analysts.
The former rugby player who represented Warwickshire and the England Development squad and had trials with top Guinness Premiership outfit Leicester Tigers, will now be tackling inquiries from Jaama customers as a first line support analyst.
Now weighing in at a shade over 19st, having tipped the scales at 25st in June last year and still hoping to shed further pounds, John (24) will take care of incoming calls for assistance and identify the appropriate priority and the action to be undertaken.
As a support analyst the workload can involve handling service requests, resolving incidents, providing customers with software usage advice, providing updates and detailed product release information, collating product enhancement suggestions and testing product service pack releases. All customer requests are logged, controlled and monitored to meet Jaama’s strict service standards.
Prior to joining Jaama, John worked for AT&T as a network support analyst.
Jaama, which employs around 40 people, has just celebrated its fifth birthday and last year moved into new premises in Tamworth on the strength of its rapid expansion.
Managing director Jason Francis said: “Growth has been fuelled by a combination of the capability of our software system and the service and support we provide to customers. We continue to win a significant amount of business as a result of referrals from existing clients and that means we continually need to recruit more staff.
“Jaama works with customers after the Key2 system is delivered, training staff and making sure the software is achieving the company’s goals. It’s equally important to us that the Jaama brand stands for exceptional customer service, so we give our customers’ choices about how they want to use the system and then we stay with them.”
Major fleet customers include: British Transport Police, BCA, Luton Borough Council, Hertfordshire County Council, DHL, Sheffield Insulation Group, Steria, Fleet Hire, iFleet, Newton Vehicle Rentals and Ogilvie Fleet.
