JAAMA APPOINTS NEW SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS TO SPEED UP INTRODUCTION OF ONLINE FLEET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
Fast-growing fleet management software company Jaama has appointed two new developers as it continues to deliver additional cutting-edge solutions to customers to further improve operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Paul Palmer and Paul O’Dell have each joined the multi-award winning Tamworth-headquartered company as software developers.
Paul Palmer has joined Jaama from a specialist asbestos management software company in Studley, Warwickshire, where he was employed as a software engineer for almost four years. He holds a BTEC National Diploma in Computing.
Paul O’Dell, who has a 2.1 honours degree in computing from Oxford Brookes University, has joined Jaama after two years as a developer in charge of .NET development at Syscom plc in Kingswinford.
Jaama’s most recent module additions to its best-selling Key2 Vehicle Management software system include Electronic Driver Services, which is both a risk management tool and a driver information portal; and a commercial vehicle defect logging reporting tool.
Managing director Jason Francis said: “Many of our software solutions are developed at the request of customers and in partnership with them. The new modules are designed to make fleet administration easier for fleet managers and ensure maximum legislative compliance.
“As new issues and requests from clients occur, we need an army of software developers to ensure solutions are successfully created and implemented as quickly as possible.
“Additionally, the Government is increasingly looking to move its entire range of departments online for the receipt of information and the delivery of new information to businesses. As a result, we are working to ensure our systems integrate with more Government departments. Already, our customers are submitting reports and receiving information from the likes of HM Revenue and Customs, the DVLA and VOSA. We expect that list to increase in the future, hence the requirements for more software developers.”
