JAAMA’S FOCUS ON DEVELOPING ONLINE FLEET SOLUTIONS DELIVERS AWARD SUCCESS
Development of a wide range of sophisticated web-based fleet management software solutions and expert consultancy that keeps fleet decision-makers on top of rising operational costs and ensures vehicles remain on the road has won Jaama its sixth Institute of Transport Management award.
The leading fleet software and occupational road safety specialist has been named ‘Best UK Fleet Software Company’ for the fourth time having previously also won the ‘Fleet Services Company’ award and been billed as the ITM’s ‘One to Watch’ in 2004, its launch year.
In presenting the ‘Best UK Fleet Software Company’ 2009 award to Jaama, Philip Leung, the ITM’s awards liaison officer, said: “No other fleet software company does it better than Jaama with its superlative offerings to the fleet industry - which is why I have no hesitation in presenting the award to the team at Jaama for its top-notch contribution to the fleet industry.
“With all the concerns facing fleet managers today, an increasing number of them are seeking the assistance of one-stop-shop companies which can provide specialist products and services catering to fleet requirements. A core element of these offerings is vehicle management software.”
The ITM undertook extensive research to select the most effective IT packages for fleet operators and which companies supported their products with the most comprehensive and professional advice.
Mr Leung said: “Jaama offers expert advice and specialist fleet management software. These offerings have proven indispensable to fleet operators, contract hire, leasing and daily rental companies and workshops, with the result that Jaama has won major contracts with big names in the fleet industry.”
Commenting on Jaama’s range of software solutions, which are targeted at fleets of all sizes and cover all vehicles and are led by its online Key2 Vehicle Management system, Mr Leung said: “Key2 is the most sophisticated package available in the UK today, providing not only a profound level of functionality in and of itself but a seamless integration with clients’ existing computer systems.”
Jaama managing director Jason Francis said: “We are delighted to add another ITM award to our list of achievements.
“The economic downturn is providing opportunities for Jaama as more organisations and public and private sector fleets turn to utilising more technology to improve cost management.
“Maintaining Jaama’s rapid growth is going to be tough but we have invested heavily to develop world-class management software that is helping organisations control costs, streamline operations and stay ahead of the competition.”
