“In honouring Jaama once again, the ITM is paying tribute to a company which, through developments in web-based solutions has raised the overall technological and professional standards of the business of fleet operations and will better enable them to monitor measure and compare and contrast the performance of individual drivers and vehicles more effectively.”
Jaama now provides fleet management software solutions to a total of 14 contract hire and rental companies, including a dozen leasing firms operating more than 1,500 vehicles each.
Additionally, the company provides management software solutions to many of the UK’s top fleets including mobile phone group Phones4U, NVR Fleet UK, SIG Trading Limited, Smeg, Luton Council and the British Transport Police.
Last year, the company more than doubled its workforce as it further developed its £1 million world-class Key2 Vehicle Management software and associated modules.

Future growth will come from greater penetration into the leasing sector - both large operators and smaller specialist companies. We will also continue to grow our commercial vehicle fleet operators, distribution, logistics, public sector, engineering and construction customer base where we already have enjoyed significant success with some of the largest and most complex fleets in the country.”

By employing Jaama to provide its full range of fleet services, fleet operators can be assured of an enhanced level of customer care leading to improved customer loyalty levels and increased profits.
“The awards show not only Jaama’s quest for development, but also the constantly high standards they set for their company.
“By branching out to provide an extensive range of services, which include not only fleet management software but also contract hire and rental provision, driver risk management and licence checking services, Jaama has been pursuing an extensive growth strategy with a strong customer focus. Their service offering allows customers, ease of use, speedier handling, and more convenience overall.
“Companies need to offer a distinctive and quality product that will encourage customer retention and brand loyalty. Jaama provides a tailor-made package, branded in the client’s name, constantly evolving to keep pace with the ever-changing corporate environment, and always employing the very latest in technology.”
Jaama’s major customers include mobile phone group Phones4U, Newtown Vehicle Rentals, SIG Trading Limited, Smeg and the British Transport Police.
West Midlands-based Jaama has taken the car and commercial fleet management market by storm with its unique combination of sophisticated web-based vehicle management software and risk management services and its business success will this year see the company move into larger premises and double its workforce.
Managing director Jason Francis said: “The accolades from the Institute underline the new cutting-edge thinking and developments that Jaama has bought to fleet management software. The technology breakthroughs that we have brought forward are designed to improve fleet operating efficiencies and effectiveness and simultaneously allow fleet decision-makers to be far more strategic in their job and less process-driven.”
